Yes, I was scammed out of $3300 dollars. Wall and Associates are a fraudulent company.

Our best resort is to contact the Attorney General of Virginia that's where they are registered as a company.

If you have had the same fraudulent experience: contact the Attorney General of VA. that's where they are registered as a business.

Me too - I was robbed and taken advantage of by Wall and Associates. Stay away from this company no matter what!!

Yes, it is absolutely correct - the IRS has forms and Advocacy departments that are understanding and helpful AT NO COST!

I was able to settle with them at a fraction of what I owed without all the penalties and interest. Do not fall prey to these scam artists.

I totally agree with your evaluation of the dishonest practices of Wall and ASSociates. The IRS can help.

Wall and Associates ... Scam

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I have been trying to help my son and his x wife with their IRS back tax issues. I worked on their behalf for quite some (6 months or so), then I thought well I should get some expert help in resolving their IRS tax issues. So based on some of their advertising I hired them. Soon I learned they do not do anything to help. They just keep asking for signatures over and over, paperwork which they already have. I called several times for status of the progress. Got no calls aback until I called the complaint line. I got a call back saying: we are working on your son's and your former daughter-in-law's IRS issues and have no idea when these issues will be resolved. Reading other people's complaints on this web site. I soon realized I was defrauded and one of many people, I am adding my name to a class action suit against this company and also filing a complaint with the attorney general of VA and contacting the FBI of VA. Wall and Associates should be prosecuted and put in jail for running a fraudulent business. A former employee also confirms my assertions. I was charged $2500 initially and then $400 a month thereafter. I have reported their fraud to my credit card company and no future payments will be made. I want to get all my money back. Trying to help my children I got scammed. I am a senior citizen. Anyone out there with issues with the IRS back taxes: DO NOT HIRE WALL AND ASSOCIATES. They are a fraud and should be sued to the full extent of the law.

If you have had the same fraudulent experience: contact the Attorney General of VA. that's where they are registered as a business.

Wall & Associates is committed to doing the right thing for our clients. We pride ourselves not only on our knowledge of IRS and state tax procedures, but the end results we achieve for our clients.
In successfully resolving any tax controversy it is important to understand that one of the most critical factors is the interplay between our staff and our clients. A successful case can only be built upon and succeed with mutual respect for one another.
In reviewing this case our office would like to state that while our office does work as rapidly as possible to determine the optimum resolution path a client should take it does depend on the timely receipt of financial information. Our office received the information requested from this client in a timely manner and subsequently submitted an Offer in Compromise to the IRS very early into the case. Our office is; however, unable to force the IRS to assign an offer faster than their normal procedures allow. Our office will call the IRS Offer in Compromise Unit to explain the need for urgency but the time an offer takes to be assigned is out of our control to a large extent.
We understand this process can be frustrating for our clients and we do encourage them to reach out to their teams as needed to address any concerns or questions they might have. Our case teams are very experienced in not only knowing, but explaining the paths a case may take toward a resolution.
Our office can confirm that an offer was submitted for the client listed in this review; however, due to their termination of services with our company we were unable to determine if this offer was successfully accepted. Our office likes to maintain a continuous and open chain of communication so should this client require further assistance we remain willing to work with them to see to it that their tax matters are successfully resolved.

Check Carefully Before Applying for Offers in Compromise

Update Jan. 6, 2014 — Use Form 656 Booklet, Offer in Compromise, to find the correct form to use.

Update Sept. 28, 2011 — For current information, see Offer in Compromise Program.

IR-2004-17, Feb. 3, 2004 WASHINGTON — The Internal Revenue Service today issued a consumer alert advising taxpayers to beware of promoters’ claims that tax debts can be settled for “pennies on the dollar” through the Offer in Compromise Program. Some promoters are inappropriately advising indebted taxpayers to file an Offer in Compromise (OIC) application with the IRS.

This bad advice costs taxpayers money and time. An Offer In Compromise is an agreement between a taxpayer and the IRS that resolves the taxpayer's tax debt. The IRS has the authority to settle, or "compromise," federal tax liabilities by accepting less than full payment under certain circumstances. “This program serves an important purpose for a select group of taxpayers.

But we are increasingly concerned about unscrupulous promoters charging excessive fees to taxpayers who have no chance of meeting the program’s requirements,” said IRS Commissioner Mark W.

Everson. “We urge taxpayers not to be duped by high-priced promises.”

I, and many others, have also been subjects of their criminal practices. The IRS can help.

Don't forget to file IRS form #14157 "Tax Preparer fraud and misconduct". We were advised to do this by our IRS revenue officers. Don't wait!

The form is simple and an effective tool against these types of companies. The IRS has already shut down multiple company's operating like Wall and Associates.

Unbelieveable, Wall and Associates are Crooks !!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I recently had a new client come in my office and he told me W&A charged him $ 21,500 upfront and $ 600 to fix his tax problem. All they did was file powers of attorney and order account transcripts, and they screwed up the POA filings, it took them 4 months to get the POA's on file.

In meantime the Revenue Officer was levying bank accounts and ignoring the screwed up POA's.

This firm is a bunch of thieves we plan to pursue litigation against these crooks, and would join in a class action lawsuit.

The statements detailed in this review are not the firsthand experience of a client of Wall & Associates. Our office is unable to address the specific matters listed here because we are unsure if our former client is aware of this posting and the public nature of any response.
In rare cases our office has had clients choose to forego our services and opt to have another company or individual represent them. It is our belief that the services you get from us are better than our competitors.

A complaint was filed but haven't received any updates or seen much action on it. Any idea where it stands?

The Virginia Attorney Generals office has dozens of complaints but don't seem to be moving on them or keeping us updated. If a Class Action suit is the way to go, I'm all in.

I honestly feel they owe much more than just the money they robbed me of. All the grief and time and stress it has caused trying to get refunded is valuable!!

Sadly we are more victims of this Wall & Associates. We hired them on Nov.16, 2015 and samething the person who interviewed us in Riverside, Ca.

He never return our phone calls. Even a person said once he did not work there anymore, but the funny thing was that I called to this other number asking for him and they said he wasn't available and please leave a message and he will return your call. But he never did. They collected from us

$ 2,350.00 the Initial fee plus $ 350.00 for the first month but since we didn't see a good results we didn't send no more money and because of that the stop the case.

Thank God I got in to the BBB and I found a WARNING FOR THIS FIRM! We are intersted to joining to for a class action if there some somewhere. That is FRAUD.

They're taking or abusing of people's good faith and since all worries about the IRS audit and they know how to fish the next victims. At the time they know they won't gonna do anything but taking money from people so easy.

I hired Wall & Associates I was sold a bunch of bull from a slick guy with a lot of promises of all these teams that would immediately work to resolve a settlement. I paid almost 3000 dollars up front and 8 months of 450 per month in return I received nothing more than some administrative clerical work in a few form letters, with no resolution or estimation of time for a potential resolution.

Then after months of paying was told they probably can't get a settlement and I would end up paying full value.

Worst transaction and waste of money not only do I still owe the IRS but I wasted over 4000 dollars on this fruadulent company!!! They even sent me invoices for payment from other customers.

Wall And Associates - Tax Resolution Review from West Haven, Connecticut

Using them for over year...calling office 9:30 in am edt for 30 min constantly no answer including switchboard operator (office in Virginia).

When i do get through get "not in office or on other line..will call back today.."

2 days go by no response.

Only time I know there open is on 1st of month when money taken out of my account.

Always a waiting process on my account.

:::RUN DON'T USE :: Biggest scam ever...

No updates unless I call.

I could have paid back money to IRS by now

After all this they want me to be patient...this takes time...If I send something in after couple weeks they are reviewing to get next plan of action.

Safer probably to go through IRS directly.

Almost $7000 to them and **NO RESOLUTION**

Maybe they should hire a switchboard operator.

**AGAIN DON'T USE***

In reviewing this case our office would like to state that we were committed to seeing this client’s IRS Offer in Compromise accepted. Our office in good faith had agreed to work with this client in regards to their monthly fee payments to see to it that their case could successfully be resolved. Unfortunately, shortly into the assignment phase of their offer this client decided to end services with our company.
We would like to state that we understand the frustration that an IRS Offer in Compromise can cause. Our case teams put a lot of work into resolving our client’s cases and we can understand their frustration when situations arise in their lives or with finances that can cause a case to go off-track. That’s why you can always count on us to work with you, as necessary, to resolve your concerns and see to it that your case is resolved.
Our office can confirm that an offer was submitted for the client listed in this review; however, due to their termination of services with our company we were unable to determine if this offer was ultimately accepted or if a final resolution was ever achieved. We would like to extend a courtesy to this client and offer to speak with them should they still have a tax matter they still need addressed.

Wall And Associates - Tax Resolution Review from Doylestown, Pennsylvania

Don't use this company. I payed almost 9,000.00 dollars in 2 years and I still have a state tax debt.

Never followed through with what they said they would do. And ended up with a wage garnishment during the time they handled case. This tax debt was supposed to take 9 months to one year.

After 2 years still have tax debt. They are a joke and should not be allowed to operate a business.

Won a Judgement against WAll and Associates!

My husband and I used Wall and Associates in hoping we could have a tax bill lowered. After a hefty initial fee of $3000, a monthly payment of over $300, and two paychecks garnished we called and asked for our money back.

What a joke that was. They gave us the run around and we took them to small claims, even though we paid out over $5000. We figured some was better than none. We contacted the Attorney General in Idaho and Virginia.

The Attorney General in Idaho told them they weren't allowed to practice business in the state due to not being in compliance with state business laws. They still did and do. Finally, after appealing and then going back to court, the judge ordered in our favor. After three years they still haven't paid what they have been ruled to pay, plus interest!

They are scam artists and crooks. They lie, cheat, and will steal your money. Then you can never call into an actual place of business. They rent office space in their area and only have phone lines.

Mark Yeates is a SHISTER!!

Do NOT contacted them for help. They will *** over and then flip you to the other side to *** again!!!

WALL & ASSOCITES are THIVES, SCAM ARTISTS, have no MORALS, or COMPASION towards anyone. YOUNG, OLD, SICK, HEALTHLY, a U.S.

VETRAN, or a DISABLED AMERICAN VETRAN as I am. They just don't care WHO THEY *** OVER. More the merrier, It makes me wonder if they get a BONUS, or WIN a OFFICE POOL as to WHO can SCAM, / *** the mo$t MONEY from people who seek there Tax Relief Service not knowing or being told it's a SCAM. Also when you call them they NEVER say WALL & ASSOCIATES.

They say TAX CONSULTANTS. What's up with that. Also when they *** YOU OVER they don't even say thank you. When I signed up with them they should have just given me a JAR OF VASOLINE PACED WITH SAND.

Because it sure feels like they did. If you have any thoughts of dealing with WALL & ASSOCIATES DO NOT DO IT, RUN FORREST, RUN.

IRS can help! File IRS form #14157, Tax Preparer fraud and misconduct" We were advised to do this by our IRS revenue officers after they closed our case and seized our property.

They refused to accept any further contact, from Wall and Associates, and once we terminated our contract reopened our case and we were able to negotiate a settlement with the IRS.

Don't wait, the form is easy to complete and valuable to help shut down these types of companies. We also are filing suit, in local courts, as advised by our attorney

If they are unresponsive you can have that judgement entered in their D&B credit file or the owner's personal credit file if they aren't incorporated. This will force them to deal with you because you'll cut off their access to credit, which can be a very painful situation.

When they're ready to deal, offer to have the judgement removed from their credit file if they deal with your complaint.

You can reach me at 816-405-5667

Wall and Associates Scam

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I agree. The same people I was working with scammed me. My spouse and I are still with them and we are trying to figure how to fire them.

I gave them all the paper they needed over a year ago. It takes them 1 month to fill out the 433-A. When I received the paper work for review, they filled it out incorrectly. The 433 form is nothing more than 5 pages of paper work they send to the IRS. The filled this out incorrectly 3 times before they go it right. I nagged and nagged them over the phone to get it done. Every time they dragged their feet.

So at this point, I was being nicked and dime'd for 400 a month for over a year and a half. That is well over 6000.00 dollars not including the 3900.00 retainer fee I paid.

This whole thing is a scam and they keep you on the hook because they know they have you by the balls.

It's interesting how they never say things in an email vs what they tell you over the phone. For instance, emails are always saying things they need. Or if I hear from the IRS or get a letter, to call them and forward the letter to them. That's it.

But when you ask for details of the process in emails you will send, or what is being done for your case. They don't put it in writing, they'll call you instead.

This is a sanitation process so they can say they never told you these things since it's a conversation over the phone.

This is a horrible scam and it would have been better to do the paper work myself and deal with the IRS directly. That money would have been better served paying the IRS.

Plus, you never hear from the same person. One month it's Ashely, next month it's Brandon, then a week later it's Danielle or someone else. You can tell when you ask for details of your case, they really don't know it and they start stammering over the phone with no answers. Almost like it's the front desk at a hotel giving you a wake up call and then hangs up.

I feel so *** for going to them in the first place.

Warning to all who are considering this option of hiring Wall and Associates. Don't. Learn about how to submit something to the IRS by submitting a 433-A form. Anyone can do this. You just have to learn the process.

In my case, the IRS already took 1000 dollars out of my account and were ready to take more. I was desperate and needed help.

All Wall and Associates will do is buy you time, that's it.

Tax rip offs

We met someone in Spokane WA and laid down a down payment of 2000 dollars then they called us shortly after....and we had to put down another 1400 we owed the IRS 10,000 after that we paid 325 for over two years...add it up 11,200 and the IRS also keep our taxed for three years one was an 8,000 dollar return the others were around 3000 so we ended up giving up 22,200 we paid over 10,000 more then we owed would have been to our benefit to pay the IRS 325 every month and let them keep the first tax return for 3000 we would of payed them in one year....Wall and Associates truly is a shady company they took advantage of our situation...didn't care if we had three kids to take care off with school and college. PLEASE STAY CLEAR OF THEM.
